Welcome to the Lake Superior Ice Festival, where winter magic comes to life! We are thrilled to announce the return of our beloved ice sculpture program, featuring 24 stunning sculptures scattered throughout our vibrant town. Each masterpiece, sponsored by local businesses, will transform our community into a dazzling winter wonderland. NEW this year - we will be hosting our Polar Ice Sculpture Trolley & Dinner Tour on Friday, January 24, 2025 from 5:30pm - 7pm (TICKETS SOLD OUT) and FREE Bus tours of the ice sculptures on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11am and 2pm. Saturday tours will depart and return to the shuttle stop located in Festival Park.
This year, the excitement will culminate at Barkers Island, where festival grounds will also host a captivating display of ice sculptures that promise to dazzle visitors of all ages. As you stroll through the grounds, you'll witness the artistry and skill behind each creation, with live ice sculpting taking place on Saturday. Don't miss this chance to see talented artists transform massive blocks of ice into breathtaking works of art right before your eyes! Join us for an unforgettable experience as we celebrate winter’s beauty and the vibrant spirit of our community.
